Learning Spanish

I start learning Spanish this sem, it is very hard for me especially when reading R or rr, my tongue is tired oh!! besides that, it is difficult to differentiate Masculino and Femenino objects.. i will try my best to train my tongue so that can vibrate well.

super busy 4th year 1st sem

i feel super tiring and low energy at the end of this sem, BREATHE oso no time..

even though i have only 5 subjects this sem, but i damn busy lo, let's i tell you what i have done and doing recently...

1. FINAL YEAR THESIS
The title of my thesis is research on the recovery strategy for ELV of local automotive industry and develop a software to conduct supply chain management for the strategy, unfortunately local automotive industry not yet started any activity for recovery, so i have to study oversea research especially European Union, Japan, Korea, Mexico, and USA.

we were give around 8 weeks to finish it as the brief was given at 4th week of this sem (one sem has 14 weeks). we supposed to write three chapters of thesis this sem which are introduction, literature review and methodology. the worst thing is we have to write it in Bahasa Melayu, it is really difficult to translate english journal to Malay. i quite lucky because the term i use all management one, so no much problem in translation. for my coursemates who do experiment or related to specific sciences terms, OMG lo.. (bluetooth = gigi buru??!!)

besides that, 8th Dec i have to present it to the examiners in MALAY. alamak...

2. ENGINEERING MANAGEMENT
This subject gives us the least assignment but quite difficult lo. we have to get an idea to start a new business and then write a business proposal. it is group project, but the group members are formed from different department, u know? it is hard to get a meeting as our schedule are totally different except this course, every wednesday 8pm-11pm. that's why i never been cheras connaught pasar malam this sem.

the most difficult for the business proposal is preparing the financial statement, wah!! i dun have the basic of account, how could we make it? number is complicated in account. there are balance sheet, cash flow statement, income statement and 3 year forecast sales. Hey, any engineer knows to make a complete financial report?? luckily, got my ex-roomate who studies account to help me.

we got 1 mid-sem test and 1 quiz for this subject.

3. ENGINEERING ECONOMY
it is quite interesting to learn about economy, we are trained to calculate annual worth, present worth, future worth and inflection rate. we manage to the value of money from time to time. we are given 2 group assignment. they case studies and financial analysis.

we proposed a different title which is stock investment by using fundamental analysis: a discounted cash flow approach. we analyze the stock of 4 corporates : BERJAYA SPORTS TOTO BHD, GENTING BHD, MAMEE DOUBLE-DECKER BHD and GUINNESS ANCHOR BHD. this assignment requires a presentation.

will i buy stock in the future?? no, i dare not to take risk. hehe..lolz..

we got 2 regularl tests for this subject.

4. PRODUCTION PLANNING AND CONTROL
We have 2 factory visit at Yakult in Seremban and Yahama (HICOM) at Shah Alam. this subject has got the most assignment and project. 3 individual assignments, 2 group projects and 4 exercises are needed to submit. but only one of group project needs to present at 1st Dec.

i am interested in this subject as all about planning and control. it is quite familiar with what i learnt during my internship in IMPSA (M) sdn bhd.

we got i mid-sem test for this subject.

5. PRODUCT DESIGN
This subject is quite difficult but it does have final exam, only got 2 test. we have a big project to design a new product follow step by step. it requires 3 reports and 3 presentation. all in group. this project will be carried to next sem for factory planning, we have to plan to start up a new factory to produce our product.

step 1: idea generation (proposal)
- needs brainstorming, marketing survey and analysis.

step 2: conceptual design
- use methods of Quality Functional Deployment, Product Design Specification, Functional Decomposition, Morphology chart, Pugh's concept selection method and Weighted decision matrix to generate the best concept.

step 3: embodiment design
- in progress... need to do analysis. wuuu.. damn worry!!!


above are my all tasks for my 4th year 1st sem. crazy ler? next sem more crazy.. ki siau liao lo..
friends, give me so energy... although this sem gonna finish!!

Semi-final

final we lose yesterday and got 2nd runner-up
we were able to compete with KPZ at first 2 quarters
it became worse when third quarter started
we lose at 49-71
there were a lot of supporters came to support us
got coursemates, commates, friends
but we disappointed who came to us yesterday
thanks a lot!
cheer up!! my KIY teamates!
we tried our best dy, at least we won a third place metal this year

Second match of sukem, we against KIAM (a team formed by China guys)
We won 22-17
it was so hot at 12pm
my arms have 2 layers of colour
but it worth
becoz we proceed to semi-quarter finally

there will be another tough match against KAB
their team mostly originated by the same ppl since 3 years ago
they have more teamwork and experience
anyway, we hope we can perform well

UKM SUKEM - Basketball

It is my third time to participate basketball competiton in UKM for Sukem
5 of forth year, 4 of third year and 3 of second year
wat a chemistry reaction will be between us?

we won 37 - 9 but we didn't do very well in defend
perhaps it was our first game in the morning

tomorrow will be our second game to qualify semi-quarter
it starts at 12pm (damn hot)
it definitely will affect our stamina under sun
we will against KIAM (i think which is formed by China student)

GANBATTE!! hope to bring victory!

Air Asia flight

it was my first Air Asia flight
how was my feeling about it? evaluating it..
poor? ok? good? or excellent?
this can't be simply evaluated because i have to consider the price
cost always relates to quality mah
only RM136 go and back from Langkawi to KL for my gf and i
damn not expensive (we never say cheap)
there was a small aeroplane to contain passengers
but quite stable when flying in the sky
maybe good weather or good skilled pilot

JLPT level 3

I am going to take the Japanese-Language Proficiency Test 2009 for my level 3 oh! today 11st September is the last day for registration, so i went to register yesterday. Actually i am not very confident to make it as i stopped learning it for 5 months already. The is at 6th December 2009, Sunday; venue is UPM for KL test centre ( got penang and singapore centres). There is 3 months available for me to recall and learn further japanese as i know i not yet reach the level 3 de. hehe.. lolz.. just a try!

I heard that you are working for certain japanese firm, if you get one level qualification, your salary will be increase RM100. Means RM100/level oh.

For those would like to measure your Japanese ability, you can just take the test but FASTER! You must appear to JLSM office where beside to Lot 10 plaza and opposite of GIORDANO, there is a tukang kasut in front the entrance, 2nd floor. Kindly informed that you must bring a long 2 pieces of 3cm x 3cm photographs, RM5 for application form, test fee ( level1,2 = RM60; level3,4 = RM50) and photocopy of identity card.

Remember to be there 2pm - 8pm today oh!!

IMPSA (M) SDN BHD is located in Lumut, Perak. I had finished my internship for 20 weeks in this company. They are currently doing few projects of container cranes which are STS (Ship-to-Shore) and RTG (Rubber Tired Gantry) cranes. Besides that, they also producing generator and turbine for hydroelectric power station in Sarawak and Venezuela.

Argentina is the main plant of IMPSA which is located in Mendoza since year 1907.

aFTER 140 dAYS

I had finished my internship in IMPSA (M) Sdn Bhd
Started from 13rd April, ended at 28th August
a 20 weeks programme of practical training for my degree
finally i back to my gf and my university
everything is maintained

thanks God!

I left Section 5 and moved in Fasa 3
I am back to continue my blog lo..
I have a lot to share in blogging

especially during those 140 days!
